Data Collected and Purposes
Navigation Data
This site is hosted on servers located in Italy. Computer systems automatically acquire certain technical data necessary for the site to function (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of request). This data is retained only for the time strictly necessary to ensure security and correct operation of the service.
Analytics
To understand how the site is used, I use Plausible Analytics, a web traffic analysis tool self-hosted on my own server (plausible.techmonk.red), not subject to data transfers to third parties.
Plausible is designed to respect user privacy:
- no cookies are stored on the user’s device
- no personal data is collected or stored
- statistics are aggregated and anonymous
- data is not shared with third parties
- no consent is required under the GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive for this type of collection
I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party tracking services.
Cookies
This site does not use profiling, marketing, or third-party analytics cookies.
Data Sharing
Technical navigation data is not shared with or transferred to third parties, except where required by law.
Your Rights
Under Articles 15–22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to:
- access your personal data
- request correction of inaccuracies
- request deletion of your data
- object to processing
- request restriction of processing
- lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it)
